Inclement Weather or Disasters

PAC typically will follow Portland Public Schools closures for our site pools. However, Portland weather can change quickly and many of our pools open in time for afternoon practices. So, please watch your email, the website/team feed, and social media for updates from our coaches. Our coaches will run practice if the pool is open and they can get to it. Ultimately, it is up to each individual family to decide if it is safe to travel the roads and if you cannot make it email your coach for some activities do do on your own.

You may call the PP&R Information line to hear bout facility closures: 503-823-2533.

Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures

Portland Parks respectfully requests that cars do not park in loading and fire zones at our site pools. Either park and walk your swimmer in or drop them off safely in front of the facility. After practice and during the colder months, we request that swimmers stay inside until their ride arrives.
